Tyler & Leslie // Wedding Save the Date

When my brother and his fiancée asked me to design their save the dates, I was overjoyed. I had a really fun time exploring paper, envelopes and various crafty options with my sister-in-law. We ended up falling in love with a deep navy blue coin envelope, very skinny and short, which dictated the shape of the save the date as well as the color scheme. I gave them 6 options of the card to choose from. To maximize space while still fitting the card in the tiny envelope, we folded the long, skinny card in the middle. The gold rope acted as a visual representation of tying the knot (thus completing the sentence). I loved these so much! Opening the card and watching the loop slide into a knot was a great touch and was extremely well-received. We used a gold paint pen to write the addresses on the envelopes, completing the look.
